About Kristina Walker – Owner & Director
Kristina Walker is the heart behind iDance Studio, bringing decades of experience, passion, and leadership to the local dance community. She opened her first studio at just 19 years old and has since dedicated her life to shaping dancers both on and off the stage.
Kristina co-founded and choreographed for Shiruon Dance Company, a national touring company known for its bold, expressive work. She spent nine years as Head Dance Team Coach at Ashland High School and served as both Dance Instructor and Dance Team Coach at Southern Oregon University.
Over the years, Kristina has owned and operated multiple successful studios — including Studio K, Song & Dance Studio, and for the past 12 years, idance Studio in Fort Jones.
She has directed and choreographed over 40 full-scale productions and led countless competition teams to national stages, earning recognition for her choreography multiple times. Many of her former students have gone on to pursue professional dance careers as performers, educators, and even NFL dancers.
Kristina’s mission goes beyond choreography as she is committed to building confidence, character, and community through dance. Idance is not just a studio, it’s a home where dancers grow, dream, and shine.
